SUMMARY

While the Intermountain West is very familiar with FatBoy Ice Cream products the rest of the country was far less aware of the Casper’s brands and their offerings. Casper’s needed a way to quickly expand awareness from credible sources to their target ice cream buyers nationwide.

CHALLENGE

If there’s a universal love, it’s found in ice cream and fans who more than happy to declare to that love. With this almost universal passion there were quite a few quality influencers both large and micro (everyday consumers who have 500-5,000 highly engaged followers), we were able to quickly engage and tap into the main artery of U.S. ice cream culture. 

 

Over an 8 month period we engaged some of the best and most influential Ice Cream lovers on social media. This included every geographic region in the country including the Intermountain area where FatBoy already has good traction. 

 

The results have been stellar with FatBoy increasing in followers by over 35% as well as consistent and steady sales growth throughout the country- especially in the areas that we focused the efforts. Wal Mart has taken on additional products for the the 2019 season with the confidence they will perform as well as their current Fatboy sets have in 2018.

 

As you can see from the KPIs above we had a Influencer Media Value of 10.3x and a very low Effective Cost Per (M)Thousand Impressions of $11.95 per thousand. We were able to engage 55 different influencers for this campaign with 67 different pieces of social media content with a miniscule $0.08 cost per engagement.
